Description

Join park rangers from Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument for an evening of presentations, children's activities, and telescope observations. Bring a camp chair or blanket and enjoy the starry night!

• 8:00-8:15pm ­Introduction and Overview
• 8:15-8:45pm Creatures of the Night Presentation
• 9:00-9:30pm Dark Skies, Bright Future Presentation
• 9:30-10:00pm Stargazing and Telescope Viewing

Event will take place at the Lumbermen's Museum & Veterans’ Memorial Library in Patten, ME.
