A Classical Piano Concert will be offered by Margery Aumann, pianist, at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, April 28, at the Boreal Theatre, 215 Penobscot Avenue in Millinocket, ME. The program will include works by Rameau, Mozart, Chopin, Schumann and Ravel. Highlighted will be the Sonata in A-Major, K. 331, by Mozart, including the well-known “Rondo Alla Turca.” The concert will be followed by a few old favorite songs, which the audience is invited to join in singing. Program: This will be a classical piano concert, followed by a brief audience participation as performer leads them in well-known songs. Biography: Margery Aumann is a classical pianist with degrees in music from Boston University and the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She has given solo and chamber music concerts in several western and northeastern States. Sh is co-founder of Highlands Classical, a chamber ensemble which presents concerts in many Central Maine communities. Margery also is a piano teacher, having taught students of all levels for many years. Much of her teaching career occurred in Bedford, Massachusetts, where her family lived. Since moving to Dover-Foxcroft in 2010, Margery taught Advanced Piano at Foxcroft Academy as well as students in her home studio.
