In the heart of summer, the sun-touched waters of rivers and streams beckon both visitors and terrestrial wildlife alike to retreat from the heat and refresh themselves with a cool swim. But many plants and animals have adapted to spend their entire lives in and around riparian zones and freshwater ecosystems. If your plans for August 10th involve visiting the Park or camping at or near Nesowadnehunk, we invite you to join us in exploring the incredible biodiversity found in these habitats. Dipping nets will be provided!
There is a maximum of 10 participants for this event. Please sign up at the Nesowadnehunk Ranger Station. First come, first served.
