This Memorial Day Weekend, the Summit Project’s 11th annual motorcycle convoy will be coming through Medway—East Millinocket—Millinocket on Saturday, May 25th, at 3:30pm. Join us curbside as they pass through to help pay tribute to our fallen Maine Service Members as they escort each hero’s tribute stones to Twin Pines Campground where our state’s Gold Star families will be waiting. Escorted by State Police, the convoy will travel through each town utilizing Penobscot Ave in Millinocket. Once they reach Veterans’ Park, they will head north on Katahdin Ave towards Twin Pines at NEOC, where a private ceremony will be held for our beloved Gold Star families. Please join the Katahdin Area Chamber of Commerce in welcoming The Summit Project with signs, smiles, and unwavering support as they continue to honor our state’s post-9/11 fallen Service Members and the faithful spirit of all Mainers!
