Vini Contreas, a born-again Christian singer/songwriter will be performing on Friday, June 7th, 2024, at 7 pm at the Boreal Theater, downtown Millinocket, Maine. Biography: Vini Contreas is returning to the Maine scene with his first concert ever at the Boreal Theater. Vini toured the Pubs and Hotels of Maine in the 70s from Kennebunkport to Madawaska. He recorded an LP called “Wild Strawberries” that was released in 1976 on Harry Kings Audem Record Label out of Brewer, and he has been writing and recording ever since. In the 80s, he recorded an EP called “Who Is Nelson Person” that featured East Millinocket’s very own Mark G Miller on guitar. Mark will be joining Vini for a few songs during the show. In the past five years, he’s been prolific in releasing several projects into the Streaming Services and YouTube.
